Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol K-9’s Stop Three Smuggling Attempts

EDINBURG, Texas – U.S. Border Patrol agents continue to disrupt smuggling attempts at immigration checkpoints. On Sunday, agents working at the Sarita checkpoint referred a Volkswagen Jetta to secondary inspection after a K-9 alerted. While in secondary, agents found three illegal aliens inside the trunk of the vehicle.An hour later, Falfurrias agents referred a Ford F-150 pick-up truck for secondary inspection.
