Mexican Supreme Court judge resigns on corruption probe

In an unprecedented step, Eduardo Medina Mora on Thursday resigned as one of Mexico ‘s 11 Supreme Court judges amid a corruption investigation. The judge, who is leaving his post more than a decade before his term expires, has been under investigation over alleged bank transfers to the UK and US which were purported to add up to more than his salary, according to news reports.
