The Hague’s mayor Pauline Krikke has resigned, effective immediately, following last week’s damning report into the New Year bonfire affair. The mayor made the announcement on Twitter, via a Youtube film, in which she stressed the neutrality of the Dutch safety board, which drew up the report.
