West Liberty University will be under new leadership next academic year, as its president announces his retirement. Stephen Greiner has been the university’s president since 2016. In that time, the school has built 13 new academic programs, two athletics facilities, and two new athletics programs. Graduate programs have also doubled in size since Greiner, a Weirton native, took over.
