A deputy mayor in New Jersey resigned late Monday after he posted comments on Facebook comparing immigrants to “rabid, messy, mean raccoons.” Republican Rick Blood – who served as the deputy mayor of Mendham Township – said he had copied and pasted the post from a friend, The Daily Record reported.
