Anons, just for keks I DuckDucked for local newz from South Korea and pulled up the English edition site for “The Chosun Ilbo” and found the lead article dated today, 7/4/2019:

Trump Proposes U.S. Liaison Office in Pyongyang [NoKo]

“U.S. President Donald Trump proposed an American liaison office in Pyongyang to North Korean leader Kim Jong-un when they met in the border truce village of Panmunjom on Sunday.

Trump expressed regret to Kim over the collapse of their summit in Hanoi in February and stressed ‘the need to improve bilateral relations and resume negotiations’, a diplomatic source said. ‘As part of that he broached the idea of opening a U.S. liaison office’.

The liaison office, a first step to establishing formal diplomatic relations, was ALREADY ON THE AGENDA IN HANOI.”…..[Caps added]

If this is old newz, please excuse. However, I don’t recall any mention of this after Hanoi, nor do I recall any mention of it after the historic meeting of @POTUS and Kim at the NoKo border. This is BIG newz and South Korea seems to be rightly excited about the prospect as it would signal the first real tangible move towards establishing diplomatic relations with North Korea.

If this a new habbening could another anon second its inclusion as a Notable? The American People would be thrilled to hear about this possibility being discussed. Again, forgive my Old Timers flare up if this has already been covered.
