Agents Thwart Another Human Smuggling Attempt

YUMA, Ariz. – Yuma Sector Border Patrol agents from the Wellton Station working at the immigration checkpoint on Interstate 8 west of Yuma arrested two Arizona women early Sunday for alien smuggling.After a Border Patrol canine alerted to an odor it was trained to detect, coming from a Nissan Altima, agents referred the two women for a secondary inspection.
