Human Smuggling Attempt Stopped at Immigration Checkpoint

TUCSON, Ariz. – Nogales Station Border Patrol agents arrested two U.S. citizens Thursday for attempting to smuggle a male Mexican national through the immigration checkpoint on Interstate 19, near Amado.During the primary immigration inspection, the rear passenger presented agents with a U.S. passport identifying what appeared to be a different individual.
