A preliminary investigation revealed a man called Louis Rivera, 65, had been stabbed outside his home after being confronted by James Dorcilien, 32, identified as a former employee.
Rivera told deputies that after he had been stabbed he fired his weapon in self-defense and Dorcilien fled on foot. Police said officers found Dorcilien’s body in the apartment complex during a search of the area. Rivera is a maintenance manager at the building, and it emerged Dorcilien was a former worker. A 41-year-old man with intellectual disabilities was found dead just days after he was reported missing from the Denton State Supported Living Center.
LeCarvin DeKevin Lewis, who also goes by “Kevin”, was found dead around 11:20 a.m. Thursday at the living center.
Family members say that his body was found outside behind a mound of dirt next to a kitchen on site.

Whoever shot 45-year-old Arianne Bisher inside her home about 1:10 a.m. Thursday remains on the run, Lafayette police said early Thursday afternoon.
Bisher’s son, who also was inside the house at 1208 Hedgewood Drive, heard the gunshots and found his mother suffering from multiple wounds, Lafayette police Sgt. Michael Brown said.
