Central NY mayor resigns abruptly; cites ‘intolerable’ conflict with colleague
CHITTENANGO, NY – Mark Pulver, who served as Chittenango village mayor for about 18 months, has resigned, blaming an “intolerable” conflict with a colleague. Pulver’s resignation was effective this past weekend. Pulver, a former chief executive officer of Syracuse Castings, wrote in a letter to the village board, employees and residents that he never imagined his “most difficult conflict” would be with Deputy Mayor Elizabeth Bough Martin.
