Scott A. Schrader resigned Thursday from his $95,000-a-year post as City of Lockport finance director, effective Dec. 31. Schrader, 50, was hired in 2015 by then-Mayor Anne E. McCaffrey to deal with the city’s financial crisis. His letter of resignation pointed out that the State Comptroller’s Office no longer rates Lockport a fiscally stressed city.
