Opinion | Trump had senior staff sign nondisclosure agreements. They’re supposed to last beyond his presidency.
Back in April 2016, when the notion of Donald Trump in the White House still seemed fanciful, The Post’s Robert Costa and Bob Woodward sat down with Trump, and Costa, at one point, raised the subject of the nondisclosure agreements for employees of which the candidate was so fond.
Restrict signers from disclosing information “at all times” after leaving White House.

Transparency watchdogs and civil liberties groups are criticizing the reported NDAs as unconstitutional.
It’s well-known that nearly everyone in Donald Trump’s orbit has to sign a nondisclosure agreement, from business associates, to campaign employees, to women he may or may not have had affairs with. Therefore it is simultaneously galling and non-at-all surprising that Trump may have pressured senior White House staffers into signing NDAs, though they are members of the federal government, not his personal employees.
Any White House staffer who signed Trump’s NDA offered pro bono representation from prominent D.C. lawyer
A prominent Washington, D.C., lawyer who specializes in national security and free speech-often in the cases of current or former federal employees-has offered his firm’s services on a pro bono basis for any White House staffer who signed a nondisclosure agreement (NDA) at President Donald Trump’s urging.

A few weeks after he was elected president of the United States, Donald Trump had an idea. In between meetings with future Cabinet secretaries and well-wishers in his office on the 26th floor of Trump Tower in New York, the President-elect decided he would require his White House staff to sign non-disclosure agreements — just like he had done for years with employees at the Trump Organization.
President Trump asked senior White House staff members to sign confidentiality agreements, much like he did as a private citizen, according to a reported column in The Washington Post. Post columnist Ruth Marcus wrote she obtained a draft of the non-disclosure agreement, calling it a “doozy.”
Why would a person ‘openly’ broadcast a CRIMINAL VIOLATION?
Do they feel protected?
Who do they report to?
If known in advance, could this be an advantage?
These people are STUPID.
